Dominic Trapani Part of Marquette University's Performance of 'Defying Gravity'

Dominic Trapani will be performing in Marquette University Department of Performing Arts' presentation of Defying Gravity. Trapani is a Sophomore Theatre Arts major in the College of Communication and is from Arlington Heights, IL. Trapani will perform in the role of Sound and Projections Design.

Defying Gravity is a drama about the events surrounding the Challenger space shuttle crash of 1986. Inspired by the life of astronaut Christa McAuliffe, Defying Gravity explores our need to reach beyond ourselves. The performance will run:

• Thursday, Feb. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 18, 7:30 p.m.

• Sunday, Feb. 19, 2:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, Feb. 22, Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25, 7:30 p.m.

• Thursday, Feb. 23, 8:00 p.m.

• Sunday, Feb. 26, 2:30 p.m.
